Management of greenhouse gases emissions

 

Climate change is one of the factors that lead Global warming and this trend becomes more and more significant.  Jentech is a citizen of global village, and we expect to do something good for our earth.  First of all, in order to understand our greenhouse gases emissions, Jentech started the first time greenhouse gases emissions inventory which was based on ISO/CNS-14064-1.  The result of inventory was verified by a third party verification organization and acquires reasonable assurance.  Jentech sets greenhouse gases emissions of 2013 as base year, and it would be the foundation for us to reduce greenhouse gases emissions.

The greenhouse gases emissions inventory is according to ISO/CNS- 14064-1.  In this inventory, Scope 1 and Scope 2 consist of qualitative and quantitative inventory, and Scope 3 consists of qualitative inventory.

 

The emissions of greenhouse gases in HUAYA and DAYUAN factory in 2016 were 5,703.799 and 9,059.384 metric tons of CO2e (excluding CO2 equivalent direct emission of biofuels); The biofuels emission equivalents were 2.0588 and 0.1588 metric tons of CO2e. The percentage of Scope1 and Scope2 in HUAYA factory were 4.47% and 95.53%; in the DAYUAN factory were 0.65% and 99.35%.

The emissions of greenhouse gases in HUAYA and DAYUAN factory in 2015 were 5,838.299 and 9,013.656 metric tons of CO2e (excluding CO2 equivalent direct emission of biofuels); The biofuels emission equivalents were 2.0680 and 0.1470 metric tons of CO2e. The percentage of Scope1 and Scope2 in HUAYA factory were 4.30% and 95.70%; in the DAYUAN factory were 0.59% and 99.41%.
